Exceptional sites await you, such as the medieval town of Le Puy-en-Velay, famous for its statue of the Virgin (Notre-Dame-de-France statue) , its cathedral or the church of St Michel d'Aiguilhe.
Walk the colourful streets of the old town or, in September, take part in the iconic Renaissance festival of the "Roi de l'Oiseau".
Close to Le Chomeil, visit the typical village of Moudeyres or admire the panoramic view from the chapel of Glavenas in Saint-Julien du Pinet.
Also discover the Chaise-Dieu Abbey and its music festival , or the Polignac fortress , the castles of Arlempdes or Chalencon .
Even closer, the ruins of Artias and Rochebaron castles will take you on a journey into the past...
Less than 30 minutes away, discover unspoiled natural sites such as the Beaume waterfall or the famous Blue Lake of Champclause.
