Exceptional sites await you, such as the medieval town of Le Puy-en-Velay, famous for its statue of the Virgin (Notre-Dame-de-France statue) , its cathedral or the church of St Michel d'Aiguilhe.
Walk the colourful streets of the old town or, in September, take part in the iconic Renaissance festival of the "Roi de l'Oiseau".
Close to the cottages, head to the charming village of Moudeyres or take in the panoramic view from the chapel of Glavenas in Saint-Julien du Pinet.
Also discover the Abbey of La Chaise-Dieu and its renowned music festival, as well as the fortress of Polignac and the castles of Arlempdes and Chalencon.
Even closer, enjoy your travel through time within the ruins of the castles of Artias and Rochebaron..
